Arcadian Ecology and Consulting is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.  We offer professional ecological, farm advice and contracting services to help you to deliver your conservation requirements, aims and objectives.

Arcadian is named after the ecological school of thought that advocates a harmonious relationship between humans and nature, and was subscribed to by Gilbert White, the Hampshire-born naturalist of world renown.

Arcadian shares the Trust’s mission to create living landscapes and secure living seas, by championing wildlife, demonstrating how nature works, and inspiring people.

Why work with us?

Tailor-made service –  From a one-off site visit for a privately owned pond to a full management plan with annual monitoring on a large estate, we offer a complete and bespoke service based on your needs.

We are land managers –  We not only have experience of working with a range of land owners but also managing and surveying our own nature reserves. This all adds up to years of hands on conservation experience and a service that you can trust.

Proven competency –  Our team of ecologists and farm advisors are members of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and Arcadian is a member of the Association of Wildlife Trust Consultancies (AWTC).

Supporting conservation –  All profits from our consulting work are donated back to the charity to support conservation in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
