John is a project and team manager with over 20 years experience. John has overseen large scale conservation restoration and habitat management projects working with multiple stakeholders and contractors.
Alison has over 15 year experience in the conservation sector, in particular, working with farmers to find practical solutions for reversing wildlife declines, within the context of their successful farm business. Alison now leads on developing and delivering our farm advice service; this includes Countryside Stewardship, Greening and Cross Compliance, bespoke farm conservation plans and resource protection.
As consultancy manager, Deborah is responsible for the day-to-day running of Arcadian’s ecology services. Deborah has worked in conservation for 13 years and is an experienced project manager, delivering high profile and strategic projects. Deborah specialises in GIS and is passionate about both data analysis and nature conservation.
Amanda is highly experienced in providing agri-environment schemes advice and working with farmers on Countryside Stewardship. Amanda holds BASIS certificates in Conservation Management and Soil and Water Management and is able to provide resource protection advice. Amanda is also contracted under the Farm Advice Framework to deliver advice to farmers on behalf of Natural England.
Sarah is a dedicated and experienced ecologist, qualified in protected species survey for great crested newts, dormice and bats (class licence level 2). Sarah has undertaken a wide range of species survey projects, and leads on survey and assessment projects for a range of clients including businesses, hospitals and universities.
Ben is a freshwater specialist and leads on white-clawed crayfish and southern damselfly work in Hampshire. Ben’s research background and teaching skills enable him to provide expert advice and training to landowners and managers. Ben is also responsible for managing Arcadian’s Ecology and Research laboratory (EaRL).
Catherine is Arcadian’s GIS expert and is also skilled in technical drawing. Catherine is an experienced planning agent for conservation projects with over 15 years experience in development control planning, and offers this unique service to our clients. Catherine also has an interest in geology.
Ruth enjoys botany and uses her id skills to carry out habitat survey and along with her technical prowess on GIS, produces habitat management plans for a range of clients including community groups and countryside sites.
