Through Arcadian Farm Advice we provide a range of services including countryside stewardship; habitat and species surveys, and advice; compliance and greening guidance; soil management; meeting regulatory requirements, workshops and training and assurance schemes.

With over 20 years combined experience of providing farm advice in Hampshire and the surrounding areas, our advisors specialise in working with farmers to maximise the environmental potential of their land while supporting the farm business.

Alison Cross, Arcadian’s Principal Farm Advisor, leads the development and delivery of our farm advice work. Alison grew up on a Hampshire sheep and arable farm and attended the Hampshire College of Agriculture, before undertaking a BSc in Environmental Protection to combine her farming expertise with a lifelong enthusiasm for nature conservation.

Amanda Ingham, Senior Farm Advisor, focuses on delivery of resource protection advice in partnership with Affinity Water, South East Water and Natural England. She has a BSc in Ecology and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management. Alison and Amanda both hold certificates in BASIS Soil and Water Management and Conservation Management. Both advisors enjoy working with farmers to integrate conservation measures within a successful farming business. Each advisor has over 10 years experience of working on agri-environment schemes including Countryside Stewardship.
