Habitat Management and Restoration Advice
We are able to draw on 50 years of collective knowledge of managing land for conservation over Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s 4000 hectare estate. We can produce bespoke habitat management plans for your site, including a site descriptions and landscape context, identification of important features, conservation objectives and prescriptions, and a monitoring plan. We can also assist with stakeholder engagement and public consultation. You can commission us to plan and help deliver your project, be it pond restoration, woodland management or wildflower meadow creation.
Habitat and Species Survey, and Monitoring
We can carry out a range of ecological surveys including Phase I and II habitat survey, habitat condition assessments, hedgerow and tree surveys. We are also able to offer bird, bat, badger great-crested newt, reptile, white-clawed crayfish and southern damselfly survey services. Our ecologists hold protected species licences and are full members of CIEEM. We can also provide mitigation survey and monitoring services.
Specific wildlife surveys should be carried out at the appropriate time of year, please download our survey calendar to help plan your project.
